Recipient Charity Event

The Wellington City Mission will consider partnering with organisations or individuals, who believe that their event aligns with The Mission's objectives and vision. 

Please download our Recipient Charity Proposal form from the Resources panel to the right. This must accompany each formal event proposal. Once your form is complete, please email this with your full Recipient Charity Event proposal to:

Some fun ideas to get you started:

Garage Sale
Hold a garage sale at one location, and proceeds after costs could be donated to The Mission.

Garden Tour
Plan a Spring Bulb garden ramble, with proceeds after costs being donated to The Mission.

Shopping Night
Some fashion retailers will allow groups to have a special preview of seasonal items, a ticket price is charged to members, and proceeds after costs could be donated to The Mission

Theme Night
Get your group or club together, and have a party complete with props and costumes. Charge an entry price, and proceeds after costs could be donated to The Mission.

Raffle
Secure prizes through friends, family and contacts. Sell tickets and proceeds after costs could be donated to The Mission.

Theatre Booking
Book a local theatre for a movie or a play and charge club members/friends a special ticket price. After expenses, any profit could be donated to The Mission.

Seedlings
Get a group to grow seedlings, have a seedling sale at a pre-organised event, and proceeds after costs could be donated to The Mission.

Jumble Sale
Get the knitting needles out and have some fun with friends and family with a jumble sale, with proceeds after costs donated to The Mission.

Quiz Night
Get friends, family and their partners together for a quiz night and donate The Mission a percentage of the profit after costs.

Change Lives ... Give Change
Show your friends, family and colleagues how far a little will go, by having them empty their pockets every night for a week and donate the spare change to The Mission.
