Struggling to put food on the table?

We are here to help. If for any reason you are struggling to afford food for yourself or your family, please come in and see us.

Our Foodbank service is available for applications at our Newtown office, 19 Gordon Place, from 10.00am to 3.00pm Monday to Thursday and 10.30am to 3.00pm on Fridays (please note that our office is currently closed on the first and third Friday of each month for staff training). Our office is closed on public holidays.

If you wish to apply for a food parcel, you will need to bring the following documents with you:

If you are working:

  • An ATM receipt or bank statement
  • Your latest payslip

If you are receiving a Work and Income benefit / student allowance:

  • An ATM receipt or bank statement
  • A breakdown of your benefit or statement letter from Studylink
  • A printout of your Work and Income entitlements or a decline letter

If you have no income:

  • An ATM receipt or bank statement
  • A benefit stop or stand down letter / your final payslip

You are able to request these Work and Income documents over the counter at any of their offices.
