Campaigns Coordinator / Graphics Designer

The Wellington City Mission is one of Wellington’s longest established providers of holistic social support to individuals and familes in need, having served the community for over 111 years.

The Mission prides itself on being open to anyone who needs assistance, regardless of religious belief, age, ethnicity or social background. Our four Mission programmes (Families, Youth, Independence and Seniors) are open to everyone living in the Greater Wellington region.

A great opportunity has arisen for a Campaigns Coordinator / Graphic Designer to join The Mission’s Marketing & Fundraising team, reporting to the Marketing & Fundraising Manager.

The key focus of this role is to coordinate all campaigns run by The Mission, deliver design elements (from concept to final artwork) for all Marketing & Fundraising material, manage the application of our brand, assist with the coordination and implementation of events, and participate in developing our strategic plans – helping The Mission to increase the public’s undertstanding of what we do and the difference we make, and increase the support from the public and corporates in Greater Wellington.

Requirements

The successful applicant will: have strong project management skills, have strong design skills, have strong written and verbal communication skills, have great attention to detail, be self-motivated, display good initiative, have good time management skills, be personable with an ability to relate to people, have a respect for privacy and confidentiality, and have a passion for seeing the lives of those most in need improved. A relevant tertiary qualification would be an advantage.

This is a permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week.
