What We Do

1-1 Support

494

Our Social Work team carried out 494 face-to-face sessions and home visits with people and families

October – December 2021

Everyone’s circumstances are unique. Our social work team start by listening carefully to your needs and what matters to you. We act as navigators and can help you access resources and support like financial mentoring.

We’ll try to find the right balance between acting with speed should there be any high-risk issues, as well as taking the time to work through your challenges in ways that help you cope better.

While our services can provide you with the support you need, we can also advocate on your behalf to outside organisations and agencies if needed. Our plan to help you will combine our services and what we’re able to provide, as well as those of other organisations to help you achieve positive outcomes.

As social workers, we know your rights and a big part of what we do is to advocate on peoples’ behalf. We have valuable connections with all the social service agencies and know how to navigate these to get the best outcomes for you. We walk alongside you on the journey so that you can get on top of things and not be weighed down by stress.

Regardless of your situation, we’ll help you come up with a plan that will equip you with the skills you need to work towards a more secure and happier future.
