Whatever the reason is that you are not attending school – we may be able to help. We want to provide you with a safe space and offer you opportunities to master skills and stay motivated.
Through our alternative education programme, we will work with you to achieve NCEA qualifications, learn new academic and social skills, and help you to build positive relationships through personal plans tailored to your strengths and interests.
Our school helps you to build life skills and encourages self-expression through our creative programmes, outdoor recreation and learning experiences outside the classroom.
If it wasn’t for The Mission, I know I could have headed down a negative route. I wouldn’t have had any formal education on my CV, and I don’t think I would be in the great place I’m in today. I have beautiful daughters, an amazing partner, and a career I love. I’m doing everything I can do to provide the best for my family and teach my kids the importance of helping others.Allan, Annual Review (2018/19)
