Whakamaru is home to 35 Supported Transitional Housing apartments, suitable for both individuals and families.
In response to a growing need for housing support for young people in Aotearoa New Zealand, the transitional housing offering at Whakamaru caters primarily for 18-25 year olds.
Like our other transitional housing sites across Wellington, a place to live is partnered with wrap-around support – with a focus at Whakamaru on helping our rangatahi find work, stability, a community around them, and a permanent place to live after their time living with us.
