Hei Whakamaru o Te Korowai o Te Panepane o Te Ika a Maui. Walking alongside Wellington for over 120 years. ❤️

One year on from opening Kua Mākona i Whakamaru, One year on from opening Kua Mākona i Whakamaru, our Crisis Recovery Cafe, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the impact this space has had.

Over the past year, we’ve welcomed 735 manuhiri through our doors during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. We’ve seen firsthand how powerful it is to offer a calm, non-clinical space where people are listened to, treated with dignity, and supported by peer workers with lived experience.

We’re incredibly proud of our team and deeply grateful to the community for supporting this kaupapa. Here’s to continuing this mahi and being there for people when they need it most. ❤
A big thank you to The Giving Machines Wellington A big thank you to The Giving Machines Wellington and everyone who gave through their vending machine this Christmas.

Ngā mihi nui for supporting our mahi and your local community. ❤
