Making sure you are housed or supported into transitional, or permanent housing is one of our key priorities.
We understand there are complex and diverse reasons why you may need support when it comes to housing. We also know that it can be somewhat difficult to advocate for yourself. You may have had a bad experience with an organisation, you may lack confidence, or you may not know how to navigate the system or who to talk to in order to get a positive outcome.
We currently operate Britannia House in Petone, where we not only provide you with shelter, but also food and access to important social services. Our kaimahi (staff) will help you get back on your feet, and support you to achieving positive outcomes. You’ll also have opportunities to connect with our other kainoho (residents) and the wider community in preparation for your transition into permanent housing.
We also have limited transitional housing out in Titahi Bay, Porirua.
