Two Worlds Paella

The Wellington City Mission has recently teamed up with Paul Barris of Paella Boys to produce and sell ready-to-eat Paella meals at local supermarkets across New Zealand and to raise funds for The Mission. The product is dairy-free, nut-free and gluten-free.

The first of these were rolled out at the beginning of September at New World Chaffers (City) on Wakefield Street. Each Paella meal is being produced and manufactured locally at a kitchen in Petone, and there are 5 favours: Chicken, Beef, Vegetarian, Lamb and Seafood. The product’s packaging is biodegradable.

We’ve called ours Two Worlds Paella, because it brings together a delicious old-world traditional recipe and our wonderful new world premium fresh produce.

Reasons to add Two Worlds Paella to your weekly shop:

  • You love paella or would like to try it
  • It’s a healthy, nutritious meal with generous portion sizes
  • Five yummy options to choose from (lamb, beef, chicken, seafood and vegan)
  • It’s made locally in Petone using top quality NZ ingredients, merged with the very best Spanish rice
  • Every paella you buy will help us help more people in need across the region.

Giving never tasted so good!
