Hei Whakamaru o Te Korowai o Te Panepane o Te Ika a Maui. Walking alongside Wellington for over 120 years. ❤️

Facing political persecution and tragedy at home i Facing political persecution and tragedy at home in Bulgaria, Srebra came to New Zealand in 1999 to start a new life.

A few years ago, after an isolating period of sickness, Srebra moved into Kemp Home & Hospital - our residential care facility in Tītahi Bay. She hasn't looked back since, forming strong bonds with her fellow residents and becoming something of a leader within the group.

"I’m glad I survived what I have gone through, and now I feel very happy and confident. I don’t feel so alone, because Kemp is my family, and I have motivation each day.”
