Share your warmth this winter.
Everyone in Wellington will feel the cold this winter.
But while most of us can retreat into a warm home, not everyone in our city will be able to escape the cold.
For those without a home, every night is a struggle for warmth, comfort and safety. For many others, the high cost of living will mean they are faced with a choice: heat their home or feed their whānau.
Your donations enable the Wellington City Mission to support Wellingtonians who are doing it tough this winter.
Every donation contributes towards the many key services we offer for those in need of some help, including:
- Food support through our Social Supermarket, where whānau have the dignity and freedom to shop for donated kai and household essentials in a normal supermarket environment
- Transitional housing and advocacy for those without a secure place to call home
- Financial mentorship for those struggling to manage bills and the high cost of living
- Excellent warm kai, companionship and a network of further support service based at Whakamaru and Craig and Gail’s Café in Mount Cook (4 Oxford Terrace)
