The Crisis Recovery Café at Whakamaru is designed The Crisis Recovery Café at Whakamaru is designed as a supportive, non-clinical space to help whānau who are experiencing a crisis, emotional distress, or thoughts of suicide. 
 
The café is run by trained Wellington City Mission staff who have lived experience in mental health recovery, offering empathy, understanding, and a sense of community. 
 
It serves as an alternative or complement to traditional mental health services and aims to reduce the load on clinical emergency services.

Operating 24 hours a day, from Thursday at 7:30am until Monday at 7:30am.
