Driving change for good fuels new partnership

Wellington City Mission (WCM) has joined forces with family-owned Brendan Foot Supersite (BFS) to help the local community access essential services.

Brendan Foot Supersite has provided Wellington City Mission with 13 cars, featuring a diverse range including the popular Suzuki Swift, GWM Jolion and Mitsubishi Outlander. A number of them will be without charge to WCM to help support them on their mission.

“Today marks the beginning of a new chapter for us as we enter into a three-year partnership with Brendan Foot Supersite (BFS),”

Wellington City Missioner Murray Edridge said.

“Thanks to the generosity of BFS we can continue to drive positive change. These cars play a crucial role in enabling the delivery of essential services throughout the Wellington Region.

“This collaboration is more than a business alignment. It’s a partnership that shows both our organisation’s commitment and shared belief in making a lasting and impact in the lives of those in need,” Murray Edridge said.

“We’re excited for this fleet of cars to be out in the community and seen by locals with signage such as “Helping out is how we roll”, serving as a visible symbol of this relationship’s impact,” Edridge said.

BFS gathered the team to fill a bootload of much needed grocery items and delivered it to the shelves of the Wellington City Mission’s Social Supermarket.

This experience was so meaningful for them that it fuelled a desire to work with WCM in the hopes that joining forces would drive more social good in the local community.

“Proudly born and bred in the Wellington region, our family is very grateful for the support from our local community. This is one of the ways we can connect and give back to families who need a helping hand,” Dealer Principal David Foot said.

This collaboration exemplifies the power of businesses coming together for a shared purpose – making a positive impact and commitment to the community.

“We look forward to the journey ahead, creating a brighter future for Wellington with strong community partners,” Murray Edridge said.
